Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects on-site, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Site Engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and project managers, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Duties

Manage and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations. Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety protocols. Liaise with architects, contractors, and other professionals to facilitate effective communication and project progression. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to project progress, including reports on site activities and any issues encountered. Assist in the planning of site layouts and logistics to optimise workflow and efficiency. Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel regarding electrical systems and installations. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to throughout the duration of the project.

Requirements

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools relevant to site management.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 200.00-300.00 per day

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week

Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability
