We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a live educational facility construction project in Hoddesdon, Hertforshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-organised and professional team, delivering a high-spec build on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying for foundations, drainage, steelwork, internal and external works Reading and interpreting technical drawings Ensuring accuracy and quality of on-site works Liaising with the Site Manager and subcontractors to maintain progress against the programme Conducting site checks and maintaining accurate records

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Engineer, ideally on school or public-sector builds Strong knowledge of setting out equipment (Total Station/GPS) Valid CSCS card Relevant qualifications (HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering or similar) Understanding of health & safety procedures, particularly in educational environments Own laptop and setting out equipment (preferred but not essential)
