Overview

We are seeking a dedicated site based installation assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the execution of site based ventilation installation projects. This position requires a willingness to understand and implement engineering solutions under the guidance of a qualified Site Engineer. The candidate must have the ability to work as part of a skilled team and willingness to cope with work that is physical in its demands.

Duties

Assist in Site Preparation and Setup

Support the Site Engineer in preparing work areas, including setting up tools, equipment, and materials required for ventilation system installations.

Aid in Installation of Ventilation Systems

Provide hands-on assistance with the assembly, positioning, and fitting of ductwork, fans, air handling units, and other ventilation components under supervision.

Perform Measurements and Inspections

Take accurate measurements, mark out installation points, and assist in inspecting installed systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.

Handle Materials and Equipment

Transport, organize, and maintain an inventory of tools, parts, and materials on-site, ensuring availability and safe storage.

Operation Mechanical and Hand Tools

Employ a range of mechanical and hand tools proficiently to assist in the installation, adjustment, and maintenance of ventilation systems.

Support Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Help identify and resolve basic technical issues during installation of ventilation systems, as directed by the Site Engineer.

Collaborate with the Project Team

Work closely with engineers, installers, and other site personnel to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of tasks.

Adhere to Health and Safety Standards

Follow all safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and assist in maintaining a safe working environment on-site.

Pay: 140.00-280.00 per day
