is a family run millers since 1824, producing award winning flours. We are looking for a Site Hygiene Operative to join our team at our Chelmsford City Centre site, to ensure that production and staff facilities are clean and hygienic.

Hours of Work



Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 0830 - 1700 hours.

Responsibilities and duties



Ensuring production areas are always kept clean and tidy Cleaning of walls, floors, machinery, equipment, utensils, and the removal of rubbish Detailed cleaning of some machinery Cleaning toilets, washrooms Accurately completing all cleaning records at the time of cleaning Reporting product leaks, pest sightings, plant or equipment defects or other incidents to management so that timely corrective action can be taken Carrying out any housekeeping tasks generated from audit reports Daily removal of packaging for recycling Using bailing machinery for waste materials Adhering to all company Health & Safety and hygiene rules Any other duties as may be assigned

Person Specification



Industrial Cleaning experience Written and spoken English Requirement for daily manual handling and lifting ( up to 25kgs for specific tasks)

Previous cleaning experience in a food manufacturing environment
