We are looking to recruit an experienced JOINER to join our team at Thomas and Sons Construction Limited.

Who are Thomas and Sons?

We are a busy and fast paced construction company with a lot of our work being carried out in commercial/public properties which range over many different sectors. Our work largely consists of refurbishments and maintenance work. Our work covers a large area, this means not all our working locations are local.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a proactive, experienced JOINER. You will need to be able to carry out refurbishments and maintenance work confidentially, be able to work in a team, be confident in reading and writing, Good at communicating with colleagues, Have experience in on-site joinery and a can-do attitude. You will ideally have at least 10 years' experience within the Construction Industry.

Normal working hours are 8am-4.30pm with an early finish of 3.30pm on Fridays.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All Joinery related tasks.

We have a variation of works and do have the need for Multi-Skilled Trades. Sills in other trades are desirable but not essential for this role.

Be able to work efficiently to meet deadlines.

Be able to work well in a team and communicate with Peers/Managers.

Be on site for the agreed time with the client. This is generally booked in advance.

When on site we require you to be respectful to our clients and leave site in a clean and tidy condition.

There may be times when you are required to carry out additional tasks at your Supervisor's/Manager's request.

We expect you to follow our Health and Safety Policies and procedures ensuring a safe working environment and report any non- conformances of Health and Safety.

We expect you to ensure that you work safely and adhere to your Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

We expect you to carry out work to the highest standards and ensure a good quality of work.

Any variations to work must be reported to your supervisor/the office.

QUALIFICATIONS
We require an accredited qualification such as an NVQ, City and Guilds, or other accredited certificate in joinery

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

A full driving license.

Due to nature of works you will be subject to DBS.

Pay: From 14.50 per hour
