Overview

We are seeking a self-employed skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate, assemble, and finish various wooden structures and components. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and an understanding of construction techniques, including roof construction. The successful applicant will be expected to perform heavy lifting and work collaboratively on-site to ensure high-quality results.

Responsibilities

Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all components fit together seamlessly. Use power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. job consists of 1st fix, 2nd fix, final fix, joists, lower roofs, main roofs Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including carpenters, bricklayers, plumbers, electricians and roofers to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with heavy lifting as required during the construction process.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Joiner 5+years Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and carpentry principles. Proficiency in using various power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence is required Cscs card required and public liability insurance
