Gwel an Mor is part of the Cove UK family, a coastal resort based in the stunning village of Portreath, a beautiful little fishing port which sits just outside of Redruth in South Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities:

Role model the company values and behaviours at all times: Hospitality, Passion, Trustworthiness, Excellence, Stewardship, Kindness Lead, motivate, and manage the grounds team to deliver consistent, high-quality grounds maintenance Plan, assign, and monitor daily and seasonal work schedules to ensure efficient use of resources Train, support, and develop team members, including health & safety practices and equipment use Conduct regular team meetings and communicate key information effectively Oversee maintenance of lawns, hedges, flower beds, trees, pathways, and outdoor communal areas Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of grounds equipment and machinery Assist the team with complex or specialised groundskeeping tasks as needed Manage seasonal projects such as planting schemes, landscaping, and winterisation

Experience/Skills Required:

Proven experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred Practical knowledge of grounds care machinery and safe working practices Strong organisational and communication skills Basic understanding of health and safety legislation Full UK driving licence desirable
