Service Station Manager

Are you ready to take full ownership of a fast-paced, customer-facing site and lead a high-performing team to success? We're seeking a driven, detail-focused Site Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our service station--ensuring outstanding customer service, safety, compliance, and profit performance across every metric.

What You'll Be Responsible For:



Site Leadership:

Manage the entire operation, including staffing, rota planning, performance coaching, compliance, audits, and communication with senior leadership.

People Management:

Recruit, develop, and retain a team capable of delivering an exceptional retail and service experience. Complete structured onboarding, induction training, and performance reviews.

Health & Safety:

Maintain a legal, secure, and hygienic environment. Deliver safety drills, lone-worker training, and proper accident reporting. Ensure site remains operational during designated hours.

Retail Excellence:

Monitor merchandising standards, execute planogram and promotional compliance, and maintain full stock availability at all times.

Customer Experience:

Champion a friendly, helpful and engaging atmosphere. Resolve complaints efficiently, drive loyalty programme uptake, and ensure excellent service levels on the forecourt and in-store.

Financial Oversight:

Track revenue, wastage, banking, payroll issues and losses. Conduct stock checks, prevent fraud, and stay within site-specific financial thresholds.

Compliance & Legal Requirements:

As keyholder and potentially DPS, uphold strict licensing, allergen, and underage sales policies. Lead the recording of mandatory checklists via the Service Station App.

Appearance & Uniform:

Set the standard by wearing correct uniform and badges, and ensure all team members do the same. Reinforce site presentation expectations daily--from signage to customer washrooms.

Technology & Reporting:

Oversee digital reporting tools (iPad, BOS), respond to incidents, and maintain accurate documentation across operations.

What We're Looking For:



Experienced retail or hospitality manager with a track record of growing sales, leading teams, and managing complex operations. Strong knowledge of compliance, financials, staff development, and stock control. Proven leadership qualities: proactive, calm under pressure, a natural communicator and team builder. A commitment to legal standards, presentation, and safety--and the ability to lead by example. Flexible, hands-on approach with full availability to cover site needs including emergencies.

Pay: 26,000.00-29,000.00 per year
