, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will coordinate all on-site activities, manage subcontractors, liaise with the project team, and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day management of site operations
Coordinate trades and subcontractors
Monitor project timelines and budgets
Ensure site safety and compliance with H&S regulations (RAMS, toolbox talks, etc.)
Carry out site inductions and inspections
Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders
Maintain accurate records and reports
Ensure high standards of workmanship and finish
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction (residential or commercial)
SMSTS certification (required)
First Aid at Work (required)
CSCS Card (black or gold preferred)
Strong knowledge of construction methods and regulations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Full UK driving licence
IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, project management tools)
Desirable:
NVQ Level 6 or higher in Construction Management
Experience working on housing developments or bespoke builds
Temporary Works Coordinator qualification (advantageous)
