Site Manager

with expertise in retail and commercial projects to lead a dynamic construction project in Blackwood for an initial 2-month contract, with opportunities for ongoing work nationwide.

Role Overview

As Site Manager, you will oversee subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring the project runs efficiently, meets deadlines, and adheres to high-quality standards. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering the project; coordinating all on-site activities with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to maintain project schedules. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Drive project milestones to meet critical build deadlines. Collaborate effectively with the wider project team while working independently as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction management, with a focus on retail or commercial fit out projects, including fast-track environments. Demonstrated success in delivering retail stores or similar commercial spaces on time and to specification. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

SMSTS

(Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.

First Aid

certification. Trade qualification or background (preferred but not essential).
