As a Site Manager at Global Health Environments, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction and fitout of dental and veterinary clinics from their start to completion. You will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site, including subcontractors, suppliers, and labourers.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans.
Manage project schedules and timelines, monitoring progress and addressing any delays or issues promptly.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards and client expectations.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
Procure materials, equipment, and resources necessary for construction activities.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, site photos, and material logs.
Resolve any site-related problems or conflicts efficiently and professionally.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry, preferably within commercial or healthcare fitout projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
Proficient in reading construction drawings and documents.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Candidates with a trade qualification or background will be an advantage
Relevant certifications in construction management or occupational health and safety (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS) are advantageous.
