Marton Geotechnical Services Limited (MGS)

was established in 1988 and manufactures and supplies specialist quality products for use in ground investigation, water well, and geothermal drilling applications, as well as a variety of railway drainage and landfill gas & leachate management products. The company employs about 70 people and operates across three locations in the UK and one site in Germany.

We're on the lookout for a Site Manager to lead operations at our Coventry site. You'll oversee production, warehousing, logistics, site maintenance, and health & safety -- making sure everything runs like clockwork while developing a high-performing, motivated team.

What You'll Be Doing



Plan and manage all production schedules to meet our customer requirements, aligning the production strategy with the wider business goals.

Lead and inspire a multi-skilled production and warehouse team, acting as a role model with your inspirational attitude, performance and behaviour

Driving continuous improvement, 5S and lean manufacturing practices

Managing day-to-day production, stock control, and logistics

Ensuring compliance with H&S and ISO9001 standards

Collaborating with engineering, supply chain and senior leadership

Maintaining a safe, efficient and forward-thinking site

Monitor and analyse equipment and machinery with staff utilisation and reduction in downtime

Conduct and maintain risk assessments, maintain daily checks, audits, inspections and safe systems of work

Ensure full stock accuracy and lead stock checks

Coordinate with logistic partners to ensure cost-effective and reliable transport.

of up to 45k per annum (depending on experience,

with 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays).

Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm.

What You'll Need



10+ years in manufacturing, including fabrication/mechanical assembly

5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role

Strong understanding of stock management, production and workflow planning & ERP systems

Excellent communicator with people-management flair

Proven track record of delivering efficiency, productivity, and quality improvements

Working knowledge of H&S regulations (IOSH Managing Safely beneficial)
