Job Description

An outstanding opportunity available for an experienced electrical and civil engineering Site Manager to join our team in Coventry and play a key role in the delivery of a portfolio of EV high powered charging hubs and associated civil engineering works.

The Role

This position will be embedded in the existing Operational team delivering a portfolio of EV infrastructure projects located throughout the UK.

As Site Manager, you will be directly responsible for the daily management of and ongoing delivery of site-based works nationally.

Day to day responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

Site set up and ongoing day to day maintenance. Day to day management of all site processes - including maintaining accurate records and submitting weekly records. Leading on site Health & Safety Compliance. Supervision of workforce (subcontractors and directly employed). Ordering of materials, equipment and small items of plant. Carry out site inductions for all site personnel and visitors. Carry out daily white board briefings. Communicate Work Package Plans, Task Briefings, Tool Box Talks and Safety Alerts to workforce. Carry out routine checks and record information in accordance with company procedures. Liaising with client sub-contractor and the DNO/IDNO. Being the company lead site representative and ensuring the companies safe working culture is adopted at all times Assisting the project team with change requests and keeping site records up to date. Collaborate with the wider management to develop strategies for continuous site improvement.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience as a Site Manager having worked on electrical/civil engineering projects or elements of a multi-disciplinary project in the EV Charging sector.

PTS SMSTS Experience as a Site Manager in a multi discipline environment. Experience on civil & electrical engineering associated projects.

Business Unit

A busy and fast paced construction project and maintenance environment involving a range of multi-disciplinary civil engineering projects, working for a varied range of clients including Energy Companies, Chargepoint Operators, Car Dealerships & Local Authorities.

Projects can typically include Electrical & Civil Engineering works and infrastructure projects such as new Substations, HV and LV electrical and civil engineering. Carpark formations, tar works and bay markings.

We currently have a number of live national infrastructure projects for two of the largest Energy Companies and long term secured pipeline of projects.
