Job Description

DP World are looking for a Site Manager for our Contract Logistics business in the UK. The successful candidate will work closely with existing Site Leaders and business support functions as they embark on a journey to learn the intricate skills required to become a Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee site activities and performance, ensuring Customer expectations are met, strong relationships are maintained, and demand planning is effectively managed. Drive a culture of continuous improvement across operations to enhance service quality and efficiency. Own site financial performance, including budget setting, periodic reviews, operational efficiency initiatives, and exception management of unplanned costs. Collaborate with internal teams to close commercial tasks, support business renewals, and deliver on financial commitments. Lead and develop teams to meet current and future Customer demand through mentoring, succession planning, engagement initiatives, and clear communication. Play a leading role in Customer-driven scope changes and new opportunities, while identifying growth potential within existing operations. Support onboarding and successful launch of new business, collaborating with stakeholders to maintain a competitive approach. Manage all facility-related activities and ensure alignment with regional and internal teams on change requests, Customer events, and business initiatives. Fulfil Company objectives across Safety, Quality, Security, Customs, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, Corporate Responsibility, Employee Morale, and Environment, with occasional regional and international travel as required.

What you will bring:



Proven successful experience in third party logistics at Senior Management level Logistics background in e-commerce/Technology sector is preferable Strong leadership qualities and team development skills Ability to adapt in a fast-paced organisation
