The primary goal of the Construction Site Manager at Enisca

is to lead the on-site delivery of MEICA and civil engineering projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution in line with company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. This role is essential to Browne's commitment to delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions, maintaining strong client relationships, and upholding a culture of safety and operational excellence. By effectively managing site teams, subcontractors, and resources, the Construction Site Manager directly contributes to the successful delivery of Enisca Browne's projects, reinforcing the company's reputation as a trusted partner in the water industry.
Lead Site Operations:
Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure project delivery aligns with programme, quality, and budget expectations.
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:
Enforce and promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across the site in line with Browne's HSE policies and industry regulations (e.g., CDM, WIMES).
Team Management:
Supervise direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring all site personnel are briefed, competent, and equipped to perform their roles safely and effectively.
Temporary Works Supervision and Management:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all temporary works activities on site, ensuring they are designed, installed, maintained, and dismantled in accordance with approved procedures. Work closely with the Temporary Works Coordinator and designers to ensure compliance with BS 5975 and Browne's internal control processes.
Progress Monitoring:
Track site progress against project milestones, identifying risks or delays and implementing corrective actions as required.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with project managers, clients (e.g. water utilities), design teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all works are delivered to specification, conducting inspections, managing snag lists, and supporting commissioning activities.
Resource Management:
Oversee the allocation and use of labour, plant, and materials on site, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely site records including daily diaries, risk assessments, method statements, permits to work, and progress reports.
Technical Oversight:
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring works are executed according to design intent.
Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve on-site technical and operational issues with minimal disruption to the project.
Compliance & Audits:
Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company procedures, client standards, and regulatory obligations.
Mentoring & Development:
Provide leadership and support to site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and skills development.

Temporary Works Competence:
Experience in supervising and managing temporary works, with an understanding of BS 5975 and coordination with Temporary Works Coordinators.

Effective Communicator:
