Pinington is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Site Manager. The company has a good client base, we undertake contracts for the Health authority (NHS), education sector, commercial & industrial sectors as well as working in the leisure and tourism sectors.

The ideal candidate will situated within a reasonable travelling distance to our offices in Lancaster, have a strong knowledge of construction contracts. They will have excellent negotiation and communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee our construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and have a proven track record in supervising teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, liaising with clients, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and safely. Manage and supervise site personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 to track progress and report on any delays or issues. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address any concerns or changes in project scope. Prepare reports on project status, including progress updates, resource allocation, and budget management.

Experience



Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry. Proficiency in project management software, particularly Primavera P6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members. A solid understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
