Distribution and connections

- As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICP's) in the UK, we support distribution network operations across infrastructure.



Our team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers. carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections and network reinforcement.

What will you be doing?






Assist in design development and implementation. Day to day management of site operatives, subcontractors and site work. Have the ability to work under minimum supervision and competent to check the work of others and supervise less experienced or junior staff. Development and implementation of Safety documentation including Health and Safety Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments. Monitor performance of site operatives and subcontractors with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment. Comply with the requirements of the company Management Systems including Health & safety, Environmental and all other appropriate regulations. Undertake inspections in line with accepted Inspection Test Plan's (I.T.P's) & Inspection Check Lists (I.T.C's). Keep up to date with industry best practice and where appropriate identify innovation/best practice for consideration Development and implementation of Safety documentation including Health and Safety Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments. Client liaison whilst on site including client audits. Input to the planning and programming of current and future works i.e. rolling programmes. Notify Project manager of possible variations/early warnings and keep suitable contemporary records (detailed daily diary). Assist in compilation of documents and As Built drawings for Handover files. Liaise with project SHEQ lead & Senior Project Manager to produce and deliver daily site briefings.




What you'll bring






Experience in infrastructure construction preferably in a battery storage project environment or similar. Knowledge of current legislation relating to Health, Safety and Environmental issues. Valid and appropriate CSCS Card Full Driving Licence. Site Managers Safety training (SMSTS) Knowledge of large civils schemes Demonstrable experience in delivery projects over 20m in this or a similar role. Ability to work within budget and to programme timescales. IT literate, specifically in Microsoft programmes & CAD.
Proficient in organising resources and establishing priorities.
