Ada Lovelace Church of England High School, one of four schools in the Twyford CE Academies Trust, is a seven-form-entry secondary school for pupils aged 11-18 in Ealing, West London. We would like to appoint a Site Manager who will provide a professional, pro-active facilities management service to teachers, students, support staff, visitors and customers renting the school premises. This is a varied and busy role which includes managing access and security on the school site, undertaking basic repairs and general maintenance, and providing other routine facilities support including for school events.



Standard working hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm (with a one-hour break). Overtime will be available, and is likely to be required during term time. Hours of work will be subject to change depending on the service needs. School experience is not essential; however, the successful candidate will have relevant experience gained in a fast-paced working environment.



Successful candidates will have experience in facilities maintenance and customer service, and will be skilled at performing basic repairs and physically fit and able to undertake heavy physical work such as lifting and carrying.

Ada Lovelace Church of England High School opened in September 2018 and has had a smaller intake (125 students per year) for two years while co-located at William Perkin Church of England High School - an Ofsted Outstanding school - in Greenford. The school moved to its brand new permanent site in north Ealing in September 2020. It now has five Year Groups with a total of 863 students. The school will have 1,330 students when full. Ada Lovelace is named after the Victorian pioneer of computing - it has a specialism in digital technologies and will provide different routes from Year 7 in ICT and Computer Science as well as applications of Creative Media. Ada Lovelace also benefits from specialist provision and support from within the family of Trust schools.

The Twyford Trust comprises four schools in the London Borough of Ealing. The Trust was established in October 2011 to enable an existing School, Twyford CE High School, to build on its successes and look outward to the large number of parents who were eager to become part of its community. The Twyford Trust aims to deliver outstanding education in a comprehensive school setting, and embraces the Twyford School motto 'Life in all its fullness', encouraging students to use their individual gifts wisely and well. Supported by the London Diocesan Board for Schools (LDBS), the Trust is the overarching organisation which provides support for all Trust schools. The Trust has a highly evolved common curriculum which has been devised by staff within the four schools.
