As a Site Manager, you'll lead a dedicated on-site team, overseeing every stage of our developments from the ground up. You'll take ownership of the build programme, manage contractors and quality control, and create a culture of safety and excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about doing things the right way and making a real difference through the work you do.
What you'll be doing
Lead all construction activity on site to meet programme, quality, and health & safety targets
Manage subcontractors, ensuring standards and schedules are maintained
Oversee final inspections, defect resolution, and timely plot handovers
Collaborate with Contracts and Materials teams to manage material call-offs, delivery, and storage
Maintain robust site records and ensure full HSE and CDM compliance
Work closely with the Site Sales Team to support smooth customer handovers and resolve pre- and post-occupation queries
Manage, mentor, and support the on-site team - overseeing leave, performance, training, and wellbeing
Champion a culture of quality, learning, and continuous improvement across your team
What you'll need
Proven site management experience in volume housebuilding
Strong knowledge of construction methods, health & safety, and CDM regulations
Experience leading and developing teams on site
Excellent communication, delegation, and organisational skills
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
SMSTS, CSCS card, First Aid, Scaffold Awareness
Temporary Works Coordinator (preferred)
ONC/HNC in Construction (desirable)
What we need from you
Passion for construction, quality housebuilding, and great customer service
As a line manager you will need to actively support your colleagues with their development and well-being, some experience of this is desirable but not essential as we offer full support to people transitioning into a management role.
You will be required to attend a number of face to face training sessions as well as virtual sessions and e-learning this part of your role is vital and of equal importance as the day to day aspects.
