Our exciting contract with Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) involves delivering a variety of building, electrical, and mechanical works across multiple prestigious hospitals and facilities.

The Site Manager will oversee Passive Fire Protection (fire door installation, fire stopping, fire damper work, refurbishments, new installations and minor works projects ranging from values of 25k-1m.

Job Type: Permanent / Full Time
The Site Manager will:
Work alongside the assigned Project Manager to deliver the project to GRAHAM high standards complying with all HSE guidance and GRAHAM procedures along the way.
Update contractor project reports/programmes in advance of meets
Attend Client / Prestart / Progress meetings
Work with the design team to resolve on site design issues
Deliver and schedule works with direct labour and sub-contractors
Manage H&S on site including inductions of GRAHAM staff and Subcontractors
Record Site events and conditions
Liaise with the Project Manager and end users to make sure they are kept up to date with progress and requirements
Ensure all works are completed to high quality
Manage Works on site including staff & Subcontractor management
Manage works to deliver to programme
Self-snag works prior to completion of works
Collate material orders and issue to Service Desk for ordering
Complete O&M manuals on completion of projects

About You
Essential Criteria
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
Previous experience in a healthcare environment
Demonstrate relevant previous experience in a similar role working within a trade or construction background
CSR/SAFEPASS/CSCS Card
Health & Safety Induction Including Management System
Demonstrate previous relevant management experience
Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and ideally Project
Full UK drivers licence
First Aid at Work
Proven Leadership and people management skills
Desirable Criteria
1. NVQ in Construction Management / Site Carpentry
2. PASMA training
3. IPAF 3a +3b training
4. Basic knowledge and understanding of the electrical and fire alarm systems
5. Knowledge of UK building regulations
6. Ability to manage time and workload
