The Role

Due to our continued growth, we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to be based in Oldham within our Guinness team. This is a permanent role and the core working hours are Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm.

The Project

This will be supporting our existing Guinness social housing contract.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

o To lead, assess and be responsible for all electrical works within the kitchen and bathroom maintenance and refurbishment programs o Ensure that Company Health & Safety Policies and procedures are strictly adhered to and work closely with Health & Safety Managers and Advisor's o Maintain and produce, on request, up-to-date Health & Safety records o Ensure all Environmental and Waste Management Policies are adhered to o Ensure that all staff, sub-contractors and visitors to the site are appropriately inducted o Fully comply with the Company's Customer Satisfaction Policy and Procedures o Ensure all directly employed personnel work within the required specification and adhere to general Company Policies o Ensure that procedures and controls laid down by the Company are fully implemented by all site personnel o Motivate, support and manage directly employed site staff. Provide training, coaching, appraisal and support as required to improve the performance of directly employed site staff o Ensure site presentation is maintained at the correct standard at all times. o Organise regular site meetings and pre-plan and ensure efficient usage of all resources

Personal Qualities

Essential Criteria: o Minimum level 4 qualification (NVQ4 or HNC) or equivalent experience o SMSTS o Scaffold inspection o CSCS card o Asbestos awareness (duty to manage would be desirable). o Full UK driving licence o Excellent communication skills Desirable: o Experience working in the social housing sector
