Here at Eddie's Doggy Daycare we have a very exciting role for an enthusiastic individual who has an inspiring passion for dogs as well as a drive to manage an expanding team along with all operations at our centre.

Purpose of Role



Eddie's Doggy Daycare is expanding its management team and we're looking for a confident, organised and people-focused

Site Manager

to help lead our fast-paced, friendly daycare.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with dogs, thrives leading a team, and wants to help create a safe, consistent and positive environment across both of our sites.

As Site Manager (People & Standards Lead), you will play a key part in keeping our centres running smoothly, ensuring high standards are met, and supporting both staff and customers day-to-day.

What we want from you



We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and experienced Manager who will be responsible for the day to day running of a busy daycare. You will love dogs and love managing and motivating a team.

Key Roles:



Team Leadership & Daily Operations



Lead your site during your shift and support the team throughout the day Create a positive, well-organised working environment Support staff with routines, communication and coordination Help new or less experienced staff settle into their roles Ensure every dog receives engagement, attention and a great experience

2. Site Standards, Organisation & Welfare



Maintain the highest standards of welfare, cleanliness and dog hygiene Ensure all policies, procedures and welfare routines are followed Make sure daily & weekly checklists are completed accurately Oversee group supervision, behaviour awareness and field organisation Identify maintenance needs and report them quickly Carry out weekly standards checks with follow-up actions

3. Dog Collection & Drop-Off (Driving)



Drive company vans to collect dogs from their homes in the morning Return dogs home safely in the afternoon/evening Maintain high safety standards during transport Communicate professionally with customers at the door Follow routing plans and logistics procedures

4. Customer Interaction



Provide friendly, professional communication at pickup/drop-off Support staff with customer queries Handle simple customer concerns and pass complex ones to the Operations Manager

What we are looking for:



Experience supervising or managing a team in any industry Experience in dog daycare, kennels, training or animal care Basic understanding of dog behaviour (training provided) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confidence interacting with customers Good organisational ability and attention to detail Calm, positive and proactive attitude Full UK manual driving licence (for van collection/drop-off) Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Interest in dog behaviour, welfare or animal care Experience in operations, safety or similar responsibilities
