Job Summary:
The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily site operations of the LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) facility. This role ensures the site is efficient, safe, and compliant. Ensuring the site operates and delivers high-quality production by managing staff, coordinating with suppliers and transport.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage goods in and out of site.
Lead the team and support staff to achieve daily production goals.
Monitor equipment performance, coordinate production management.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards.
In line with the production manager, track and report production metrics (output, quality, waste, efficiency).
Plan workforce schedules and ensure adequate staffing across shifts.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance departments.
Train staff on new equipment, safety procedures, and operational improvements.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.
Maintain documentation related to production, maintenance, and compliance.
Provide cover in the absence of the production manager.
Qualifications:
Level 4 CoTC - Certificate of Technical Competence qualification
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Familiarity with production planning.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
