. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance, and coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Oversight:
Supervise all on-site construction activities related to the solar PV farm installation.
Ensure works are carried out according to design specifications, project plans, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor progress and provide daily/weekly reports to the Project Manager.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
Enforce site health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks.
Ensure all personnel and contractors comply with HSE standards.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and consultants to coordinate schedules, deliveries, and work packages.
Act as the primary on-site point of contact for project stakeholders.
Quality Control:
Oversee and ensure the quality of installation work meets industry and project standards.
Conduct inspections and resolve issues with workmanship or materials.
Logistics & Resource Management:
Manage equipment, materials, and on-site labour resources.
Ensure timely delivery and use of materials and components.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of site activities, incidents, inspections, and materials usage.
Submit progress updates and escalate any project risks or delays.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Manager on utility-scale solar PV or renewable energy projects.
Strong understanding of electrical, civil, and structural aspects of solar farm construction.
Knowledge of HSE regulations and construction best practices.
Experience managing subcontractors and large on-site teams.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and project documentation.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
SMSTS / SSSTS, and First Aid certifications.
Desirable:
Experience with project management tools and reporting software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).

Pay: 45,000.00-70,000.00 per year
