Site Manager - SSSTS
Rhymney area, NP22 5RL
Monday - Friday 7.00am - 6.00pm with every other weekend.
12 month contract position

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join the Projects Team supporting a new build production facility in Rhymney, NP22 5RL.
Duties
As a suitably experienced SSSTS or SMSTS construction site manager ideally with manufacturing industry experience, you will be working at a new build production facility in Rhymney, NP22 5RL on a project to extend the manufacturing capacity. With responsibility to manage the day to day site activities from site set up to hand over of a mechanically biased construction project incorporating process pipework and plant installations valued at approximately xc2xa315m. Specific duties will include working alongside the project manager to co ordinate in house and subcontract resources allocated to the project, compiling risk assessments and method statements for site installations, carrying out site inductions, managing and issuing work permits, completing daily reports and ensuring all works are completed in line with the companies Health and Safety procedures. Other duties will include dealing with contractor queries and H&S aspects along with coordinating the CDM scope of works.
About You
Based ideally in Newport you will need to live within a commutable distance of NP22 5RL.
Demonstrable experience as a site manager within the construction industry with particular knowledge of building manufacturing facilities under CDM is essential for this job.
Qualifications: CSCS Site Manager, 5-day 1st Aid, SMSTS or SSSTS.
Cover will be required for Saturday and Sunday with 2 days off in the week so you must be able to work the weekend.
