Job Title: Project Manager / Site Manager - Shop Fitting & High-End Residential Projects

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled

Project Manager / Site Manager

to lead and deliver specialist construction projects from inception through to completion. This position combines the responsibilities of

project planning and coordination

with

day-to-day site management

, ensuring both strategic oversight and hands-on delivery.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in

shop fitting within managed working mall environments

as well as in

high-end residential conversions

. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining excellent communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

Duties

Take ownership of projects from planning through to delivery, balancing both project management and site management responsibilities. Lead on-site operations, supervising contractors and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required specification. Oversee shop fitting projects in live, managed shopping mall environments, coordinating carefully to minimise disruption and meet landlord requirements. Deliver high-end residential conversion projects, ensuring premium finishes and meticulous attention to detail. Develop and manage project programmes, sequencing works to meet deadlines and budgets. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where required. Conduct site inspections, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and quality control standards. Manage contracts, change orders, landlord approvals, and all project-related documentation. Act as the central point of communication between design teams, clients, and site teams, fostering collaboration and teamwork.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a

Project Manager, Site Manager, or hybrid PM/SM role

, with specific exposure to:

Shop fitting projects in managed mall settings

High-end residential conversions

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate both office-based planning and on-site delivery. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to liaise confidently with clients, consultants, and site teams. Relevant qualifications in construction management or engineering are advantageous. Ideally

based within easy travel distance to both Battersea and Hammersmith
