Role overview

The Site Runner supports the smooth day-to-day running of Luna Hut's mobile sauna sites. You'll visit sites, check in with staff, deliver operational updates, complete light maintenance, move stock and equipment, and be an extra pair of capable hands wherever needed.

It's a practical, hands-on, and collaborative outdoor role that suits someone organised, proactive, and happy pitching in.

You'll work closely with the Operations Manager and Site Managers, helping to keep sites safe, tidy and well supplied, and making sure small issues are fixed before they become big ones. From time to time you may also provide short-notice cover to keep sites open.

Key responsibilities

1) Maintenance and site upkeep

Assist the Site Manager on weekly maintenance visits and carry out delegated tasks. Support deep cleans at the Beaconsfield Road site.

2) Day-to-day site operations

Support the Founders and Site Managers in daily operations and delegated tasks. Monitor internal comms and pass on urgent messages to site teams. Provide shift cover when required to maintain service.

3) Staff support and training

Drop in on live shifts to check in with staff and offer on-the-spot guidance. Assist with onboarding new starters on site basics, safety and daily routines.

4) Procurement and logistics

Support Site Managers with wood stock levels and coordinate deliveries with suppliers. Move supplies, signage, lost property items and small tools between sites and the central yard. Collect and distribute printed materials such as safety manuals and operational guides.

5) Site openings and projects

Support Site Managers in setting up new or seasonal sites, laying out kit, signage and documentation. Contribute observations for site-specific operating notes and maintenance lists.

6) Health, safety and compliance

Follow Luna Hut safety procedures at all times, including manual handling and lone-working rules. Report incidents, near misses and hazards promptly.

Skills and experience

Experience in hospitality, outdoor operations, events, facilities or DIY is ideal. Practical, hands-on approach with basic tool skills (helpful but not essential) and a tidy work style. Organised, calm under pressure, and good at prioritising. Clear communicator who enjoys supporting others. Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and travelling between sites. Full UK driving licence Use of own vehicle helpful but not essential.
