Summary
We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our dynamic team at Makita Manufacturing Europe Ltd in Telford. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes by carrying out a range of general fabric maintenance and business tasks.
Responsibilities
First line response to reactive repairs
Re-lamping of defective luminaries
Planned maintenance tasks as scheduled (fire alarm tests, emergency lighting tests)
Utilities meter readings
Minor building fabric, decorating and plumbing repairs
Completion of documentation as required including RAMS
Participation in standby rota for emergency call outs
Flexibility to provide cover if required
Implement projects via the use of SMART targets
Requirements
GCSE Grade C or above in Maths & English
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance or equivalent
Good working knowledge of fault diagnostics on site related services
Good understanding of Site Services TPM system and legal site requirements
Capable understanding of engineering/electric drawings
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external contractors
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
