Salary: Earn up to 50,000 per year with overtime and a discretionary bonus dependent on experience and performance.
Hours:
41.5 hours per week (standard hours)
Holiday:
30 days per year including bank holidays, rising with length of service
About Us
South Wales Sports Grounds Ltd is a well-established, family-run sports surface contractor with over 60 years' experience. We specialise in the design, construction and maintenance of sports and recreational facilities across Wales and South West England.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day site operations. The role involves running a site with a small team, working under a Contracts Manager, coordinating works, and remaining hands-on throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage daily site activities
Lead and motivate a small site team
Plan and coordinate works with the Contracts Manager
Ensure health & safety compliance at all times
Monitor materials, plant and labour requirements
Maintain site records and progress updates
Take part in hands-on civils and construction activities as required
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
Requirements
Proven experience in civils and construction
Experience supervising or leading site teams
Ability to run a site under a Contracts Manager
Strong organisational and communication skills
Valid CSCS Card
Full UK Driving Licence
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
