Job Description

:

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong background in construction and rail works to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role, and the successful candidate will be expected to work alongside labourers on-site while also overseeing the daily operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate on-site activities to meet project goals and deadlines Work alongside laborer's and tradespeople as part of the hands-on site team Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers Maintain accurate site records and daily reports Monitor use of equipment and materials, ensuring correct procedures are followed Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks Identify and resolve issues on-site as they arise Uphold company values and promote a strong safety-first culture

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in construction, with rail industry experience essential Strong leadership and communication skills Willingness and ability to work on the tools alongside the team Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance Ability to read and interpret site drawings and project plans Valid CSCS card or equivalent certification (if applicable) PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification (preferred or required) Full UK driving licence (or relevant to your region)

Desirable:

First Aid certification SMSTS or SSSTS qualification Experience working with Network Rail or similar infrastructure projects
