Balfour Beatty is looking for a dynamic and driven Operations Manager to join our Living Places team to lead the delivery of reactive and revenue-based highways works for our long-standing partnership with Telford and Wrekin Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a 12 million portfolio and shape the future of local infrastructure.

What you'll be doing
Lead the end-to-end delivery of reactive and revenue highways works
Manage a 12m annual budget and ensure efficient resource planning
Build strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders
Drive performance, safety, and quality across all operations
Support out-of-hours and winter maintenance activities
Mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of accountability and pride
Who we're looking for
Proven experience in highways or civil engineering
A passion for delivering high-quality, customer-focused services
Commercial awareness and budget management experience
A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
