Purpose of Role


We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team on a key Defence contract in Bicester.


This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to oversee the delivery of high-quality facilities management and refurbishment projects within a secure and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities


Manage day-to-day facilities operations across the site, ensuring efficient and compliant service delivery. Lead and coordinate refurbishment and small works projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Maintain full compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and internal policies. Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to uphold service standards and foster strong working relationships. Oversee asset management, reactive and planned maintenance, and statutory compliance activities. Prepare and manage budgets, reports, and performance metrics.

Essential Qualifications/Skills


Proven experience in Facilities Management, ideally within a Defence or similarly regulated environment. Demonstrable experience managing refurbishment or minor works projects from concept to completion. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety compliance and safe working practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance. Asbestos Awareness or Asbestos Management certification is highly desirable.
