Purpose of Role


Vinci Facilities is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of facilities services on a prestigious Defence contract based out of the Frimley office.


This is a key technical role requiring strong leadership, a solid background in building services, and the ability to manage both planned and reactive maintenance operations to the highest standards.

Responsibilities


Oversee and coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across the site. Manage and monitor sub-contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of services. Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements. Manage and approve temporary works as part of maintenance and project activities. Monitor asset performance and implement strategies to improve reliability and lifecycle value. Liaise with the client and internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Maintain compliance with Defence sector regulations, site access protocols, and security requirements.

Essential Qualifications/Skills


Strong technical background in building services or engineering (mechanical/electrical preferred). Proven experience delivering facilities management on complex or secure sites - Defence sector experience highly desirable. Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) qualification or equivalent experience. Demonstrable experience in sub-contractor management and contract performance monitoring. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Good understanding of statutory compliance, risk management, and maintenance best practices. Eligible to work in the UK and able to obtain security clearance as required by the client.
