Purpose of Role


Join VINCI Facilities as a Site Works Manager on a key Defence estate contract in London. This leadership role oversees the delivery of hard facilities management (FM) services within a high-security, technically complex environment. You will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance, and maintain exceptional customer service standards--while working on a site that requires the highest level of government security clearance.


The Site Works Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all planned and reactive maintenance activities across a diverse portfolio of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building fabric systems. You will manage internal engineering teams and specialist subcontractors, ensuring all works meet strict Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements. With direct client interaction, you will be the key point of contact for stakeholders and will oversee performance against KPIs and SLAs.

Responsibilities


Experience: Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams within facilities management or a similar technically focused environment.

Security Vetting: Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is essential due to the sensitive nature of the Defence estate.

Strong knowledge of SFG20, building maintenance best practices, CDM regulations, and HSE compliance.

Demonstrable ability to deliver against KPIs and manage SLAs effectively.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Health & Safety Certification: IOSH (or equivalent) required.

Relevant technical qualifications (mechanical or electrical) are desirable but not essential.

Essential Qualifications/Skills
