Carrying out both reactive and preventative electrical maintenance across a variety of print production machinery and site facilities
Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment using appropriate testing tools
Supporting mechanical maintenance where needed
Taking ownership of planned maintenance tasks and improvement projects
Using a CMMS to track stock and schedule tasks
Contributing to the installation and upgrade of equipment and systems
Supporting and guiding apprentices and less experienced engineers
Ensuring all work is completed with a strong focus on health & safety
The Person
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (HNC preferred) OR experience equivalent
Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Experience as a site based electrical engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing / print environment
Strong fault-finding abilities, ideally including PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Health & safety aware and proactive in a continuous improvement environment
