About the Role



The client seeks a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a high-performing server-side development team delivering enterprise-level digital experiences. This role involves working on complex customer-facing platforms across sectors, leveraging Sitecore, Azure, and modern development practices. The developer will also play a leadership role in mentoring peers, contributing to CI/CD processes, and guiding technological direction within the team.

This is a fully remote opportunity, with the flexibility to work from anywhere, offering the chance to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced, digitally progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and performant web platforms using C#, MVC, and Sitecore Support the maintenance and performance of clients' digital products and websites Mentor junior and mid-level developers, identifying training needs and leading skill development Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like TeamCity and Octopus Collaborate with Project Managers to allocate resources efficiently across projects Provide technical consultancy and support for outages, upgrades, migrations, and deployments Advise on new technologies and contribute to internal R&D Ensure the stability, scalability, and usability of client websites Support IT operations and participate in out-of-hours support rotations Maintain thorough and accurate records of project hours and development activity Contribute to the internal architecture and hosting strategy of client solutions

Technical Skills and Experience



Strong expertise in:

C#, MVC, SQL Server (T-SQL)

Sitecore 8+

, Azure, MongoDB

JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, XHTML

IIS, Visual Studio

Experience with:
*

CI/CD tooling - TeamCity, Octopus, Git Content Hub (a plus) Agile methodologies and project management Hosting environments and infrastructure management Proven track record of working on large-scale enterprise web projects Ability to assess cost and impact of architectural decisions Skilled in documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement

Leadership & Soft Skills



Proven experience mentoring and managing development teams Effective communicator with strong commercial awareness Highly organized and self-directed with attention to detail Enthusiastic about technology and innovation Capable of operating in a fast-paced, multi-stream delivery environment Contributes to building a collaborative and supportive team culture

Qualifications



Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience Demonstrated success in a similar senior role in digital project delivery
