We are seeking to appoint a Kitchen & Food Service Supervisor to run the catering provision within our new sixth form building (located in the grounds of Horsforth School). This is an exciting opportunity to deliver fantastic freshly prepared meals, deli sandwiches, salads, desserts and other products to sixth form students and staff. Working closely with the Catering Management Team, you will be able to deliver our exciting food offering, using fresh, seasonal ingredients wherever possible. You will also maintain the kitchen to the highest possible standards and be a front of house presence.
This is an extremely responsible position and the successful candidate must be hardworking, energetic and reliable and have the ability to deal with issues using their own initiative as they arise whilst also working as part of a team.

Stock Management:
Monitoring and replenishing stock levels and ensuring displays and fridges are well-stocked.

Cash Handling:
Operating tills and processing customer orders efficiently.

Customer Engagement:
Greeting customers with a smile, offering assistance, and engaging in friendly conversations.

Upselling:
Suggesting additional items to customers in a non-pushy manner.
