Duties

Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, cakes, and biscuits according to established recipes. Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations. Measure and mix ingredients accurately to create high-quality baked goods. Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient supplies. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve baking skills.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Baker. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment used in food production. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. A genuine passion for cooking and creating delicious baked goods. happy to work night shifts and unsociable hours, 5-6 nights a week job based in swaffham, norfolk. Must be able to commute.
