Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including marinating meats and chopping vegetables. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of grilling supplies and communicate needs to management. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Uphold high standards of culinary presentation and taste, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, particularly in grilling and food production. Excellent understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Leadership skills with the capability to manage and motivate team members effectively. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
