The Hansford Sensors Group are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical components and systems used in vibration sensor technology. This role demands precision, technical aptitude, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities
Assemble electro-mechanical products including vibration sensors and monitoring equipment to precise specifications.
Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, SOPs, and BOMs.
Use hand tools and measuring instruments
Show competencies in fault finding and reworking PCB assemblies and hardware
Solder wires and components to high quality standards.
Add or develop abilities in preparing data collector cables with 2 pin socket connectors or BNC's
Conduct functional testing and inspection of finished assemblies.
Maintain accurate documentation and traceability records.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in 5S activities.
Provide technical support to colleagues and assist in training aligned with the skills matrix.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and PPE requirements.
Learn and understand about working in a healthy and safe work place.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Ability to learn new electronic assembly concepts with minimum training and supervision
Not compulsory but a proven capability of working to 0402 SMD and capability of working to IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies would be an advantage.
Lean Manufacturing & Problem solving would be an advantage
Electronics training to IPC-A-610 is an advantage
A competent level of soldering is preferred
Ability to work under pressure
A competent level of English and Mathematics
Ability to learn new assembly concepts with minimum training and supervision.
Must have a at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Full time permanent position
Competitive wage based on skills and experience
20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays - increases to 25 in line with service
8:00 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday
