Labourer

Overview

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join our team. This role plays a vital part in supporting day-to-day operations across various construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general labouring duties such as loading, unloading, and transporting materials. Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks on-site, offering hands-on assistance where needed. Safely operate hand tools and basic power tools as required. Keep the work area tidy and ensure all equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly. Adhere to health and safety standards at all times to protect yourself and team members. Promptly report any hazards or site issues to your supervisor. Take part in on-the-job training and development to improve your skills and knowledge.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is beneficial, but not essential. Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks, including lifting items up to 25kg. Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is an advantage. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions carefully. A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently when required. A valid UK driver's licence is desirable but not required.

Pay: 13.50-16.00 per hour
