Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Labourer who is fluent in English to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of site tasks, working closely with tradespeople, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform skilled manual labour tasks including (but not limited to): groundwork, demolition, basic carpentry, concrete work, and site clearance. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Assist tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers, and bricklayers as needed. Load and unload materials and equipment on-site. Follow verbal and written instructions in English to carry out work tasks. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Report any issues or hazards to the site manager or supervisor promptly. Ensure materials and tools are used efficiently to reduce waste.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a skilled labourer in construction or a related field. Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written). Ability to read site instructions, safety notices, and basic construction plans. Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in all weather conditions. Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential). Basic knowledge of health and safety standards on construction sites.
