Selby Landscapes is a multi-award-nominated landscaping company based in Bath.

We specialise in high-end garden design and construction and are committed to delivering beautiful, functional outdoor spaces with exceptional attention to detail and quality.

We are looking for a skilled, experienced landscaper to join our team, working on a self-employed basis initially - progression to PAYE is available for the right candidate.

You will play a key role in delivering garden installations to the highest standards across Bath and the surrounding area.

We expect you to hit the ground running, bringing a professional, positive, and communicative approach to every project.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the installation of high-end garden projects, ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency Set out gardens from plans, lay paving (using correct mixes and falls), install drainage, footings, blockwork, decking, and fencing. Operate power tools and plant machinery safely and competently (tickets/CSCS preferred) Work to job schedules, updating progress via company iPads Uphold health and safety standards on all sites Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members Proactively resolve issues and maintain a tidy, professional work environment
Requirements

Minimum 3 years' proven landscaping experience (essential) Valid UK driving licence (essential) Strong experience with power tools and site machinery Plant machinery tickets and CSCS card (advantageous) Excellent communication and organisational skills Attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work Able to work independently and as part of a small, focused team Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in all weather Positive, polite, and personable - we only want team players
