From 20 per hour - Full-time ongoing work - North East

Forthcoming Group Ltd is looking for an experienced hard landscaper to join our team on a self-employed CIS basis. This role involves full garden and driveway installations, not general garden maintenance. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of a job, work to a high standard, and represent the company professionally on site.

Key Requirements (Applicants must meet all of the following)

Minimum 3 years' experience in hard landscaping Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points Over 25 years old (insurance requirement for company vehicle use) UTR number and able to be paid through CIS Able to run a job independently and work to drawings/levels Competent in patios, sleepers, decking, turfing (real and artificial), and drainage Able to provide photos of previous completed work Capable of using systems on a smartphone or iPad (job management apps, uploading photos, completing checklists, etc.) Must follow company processes, reporting requirements, and job documentation procedures
Preferred but Not Essential

Experience in block paving driveways Resin driveway base preparation Use of laser levels and site setting-out Experience managing a labourer or apprentice
Pay and Work Structure

From 20 per hour (CIS), paid weekly Higher rate available depending on experience, speed and work quality Progression to price work once standards are proven Full-time ongoing work available (not one-off days or short-term jobs)
Vehicle and Travel

Own van preferred If no van, a company tipper truck can be supplied (must meet insurance criteria: 25+ and max 6 points) Work mainly across Sunderland, Durham, Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, and surrounding areas
Weekly Commitment

A weekly morning meeting is required to plan out the schedule, materials, access, skips, and labour for upcoming jobs. This applies even after moving to price work.

You only have experience in garden maintenance (grass cutting, hedge work, etc.) You cannot provide photos of previous hard landscaping work You do not have a UTR number or want cash-in-hand work You are under 25 or have more than 6 penalty points You cannot commit to full-time ongoing work You are not comfortable using a smartphone or iPad to follow job processes
