We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, providing excellent customer service, and leading maintenance initiatives.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot electrical systems, including logic controllers, to diagnose issues effectively.
Conduct inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and inquiries.
Take part in the night call rota - 1 week in 4.
Requirements
Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings.
Strong command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication within the team.
Solid understanding of electrical systems and various lift controllers
Demonstrable mechanical knowledge with the ability to maintain various types of lift equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
Full UK driving license.
Willing to have an enhanced DBS check.
