About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced

Skilled Manual Fabric Master Cutter

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cutting textiles from pattern templates using tools like an

Eastman cutter

. This role requires precision, efficiency, and physical stamina, as it involves tasks that demand attention to detail and physical effort.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabric Preparation:

Lay out fabric accurately to prepare for cutting. Mark patterns onto the fabric, ensuring accuracy and adherence to templates.

Cutting:

Use an

Eastman cutter

(or similar tools) to cut textiles precisely. Maintain a consistent level of quality to meet production standards.

Additional Duties:

Pack and organise cut fabrics for dispatch or storage. Perform stock takes to manage inventory effectively. Assist in loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring proper handling of materials. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and operations.

Requirements:

Experience:

Possess extensive experience in manual fabric cutting, including proficient use of tools such as the Eastman cutter.

Skills:

Proficiency in working with pattern templates. Strong understanding of fabric types and handling techniques. Ability to operate cutting equipment safely and efficiently.

Physical Demands:

Capability to lift heavy materials and stand on your feet for extended periods. Willingness to perform tasks requiring physical strength and endurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management. Previous experience in a manufacturing or textile production environment. Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
