We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles and machinery. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations.
Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace faulty parts and components as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, and electrical systems.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are advantageous.
A valid driving licence is preferred.
