Metalworker
to join our dynamic team.
Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and precise fitting of custom metal components. You'll collaborate closely with our design and production teams to help bring our clients' unique visions to life--both in the workshop and on-site during international installations.
Key Responsibilities
Precision Assembly & Installation:
Execute accurate fitting and installation of custom metal components such as doors, wine cellar structures, and decorative fixtures, aligned with design specifications and project requirements.
Fabrication & Welding:
Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques to fabricate high-end metal pieces with a focus on durability, precision, and finish quality.
Material Handling:
Work with various metals--including alloys--while adhering to strict safety standards and handling procedures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution and consistent quality control.
Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot challenges on the shop floor or on-site, implementing effective solutions while maintaining timelines and quality benchmarks.
Tool Maintenance:
Care for and maintain workshop tools and equipment, ensuring safe and optimal functionality at all times.
Client-Facing Installation:
Represent the company professionally during on-site installations; address client inquiries and ensure total satisfaction with the finished product.
Global Travel:
Participate in international travel to perform on-site installations of fabricated metalwork.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a metal fabricator, including MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Proficiency in operating a range of metalworking machinery and hand tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design plans accurately.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility and adaptability to manage varied tasks in fast-paced environments.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
Adherence to all workplace safety regulations and equipment protocols.
