At TS Foods we have opportunities to join an exciting local award winning fresh & frozen food manufacturing business as Skilled Machine Operative.

You will be working as part of a team in the manufacture of our innovative products to meet customer needs. Your job will involve running production lines and being responsible for the smooth running of machinery in your area.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

To be responsible for the smooth running of the production line or machinery to deliver production targets, with the ability to recognise errors, to rectify them quickly and effectively and drive improvement. To deliver production targets on time in full. Deal with minor faults (clear jams) and report major faults. Check safe operations of guards prior to use of equipment and report any malfunctions immediately. Complete machinery efficiency sheets in a timely fashion. Carry out quality checks and complete the relevant documentation accurately and timely.
Candidates applying must demonstrate they meet the essential criteria of:

Experience in food environment with ability to work on own initiative. Carry out checks against specifications. Complete material and finished goods counts. Ability to work with and oversee machinery. Work as part of a dynamic team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.46 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
