The Role
We are seeking a skilled Operative to join our Die Making team, manufacturing cutting tooling for the packaging industry. Previous die-making experience is
not essential
, as full training will be provided. What matters most is the right mindset, attitude, skillset and willingness to learn.
This role would suit someone completing or recently finishing an engineering or manufacturing apprenticeship, or an individual with practical manufacturing experience and a strong eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Support the manufacture of cutting tooling to customer specifications
Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings
Use a range of machinery, technology, and hand tools
Measure and inspect components using equipment such as Vernier calipers
Ensure products meet quality standards and are delivered on time
Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes
Maintain a safe, organised working environment
About You
You will:
Be a strong team player and an effective communicator
Be willing to learn new skills and embrace training
Have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Have experience using machinery and/or manufacturing technology
Demonstrate practical skills using hand tools
Have a basic understanding of 5S and Lean principles
Have previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (preferred)

Monday to Friday, alternating shifts:
5:45am - 1:30pm
1:30pm - 9:30pm (8:20pm finish on Fridays)
Overtime available when required
